2. Scope
This policy applies to ridex.ma, the Ridex mobile app, and related services (account, trips, bookings, messaging, identity and vehicle verification).
3. Data we collect
Account data
Name, date of birth, email, phone, password (hashed), optional profile photo, language preferences.
Verification data (drivers)
When you apply to publish trips as a driver:
- Identity document type (national ID, passport, or driver license)
- Front/back photos of the document (back not required for passport)
- Selfie holding the document
- Data visible on those documents (e.g. ID number, dates)
- Vehicle: make, model, plate, year, vehicle photo, registration document (carte grise)

Usage data
Trips, bookings, in-app messages, push notifications (if enabled), optional driver home city/location.
Technical data
Device/session identifiers, IP address, logs, connection timestamps.
Payment data
Current phase: Ridex charges no fees. No payment or banking data is collected until monetization is enabled. This policy will be updated before any payment data is collected.
4. Purposes
Account management, connecting drivers and passengers, manual identity/vehicle verification, security and moderation, support, service improvement (aggregated analytics), legal compliance.
5. Legal bases
Contract performance, your explicit consent (especially for verification, notifications, location when offered), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), and legal obligations under Law 09-08.
6. Recipients
IMRANE OU EL FAQUIR, sole operator of Ridex; Contabo GmbH (Germany, EU) as technical hosting sub-processor for databases and files only. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfer
Data is hosted in the EU (Germany) via Contabo. This transfer is handled under Law 09-08 and declared or authorized with the CNDP as part of ongoing formalities.
8. Retention (indicative)

9. Security
- HTTPS/TLS for data in transit
- Hashed passwords
- Verification documents are not publicly accessible on the internet (review limited to IMRANE OU EL FAQUIR via secure access)
- Encryption at rest for sensitive files on our servers, where applicable
- Profile photos and vehicle exterior photos may be visible to other users on trip listings (not identity documents or carte grise)
- Secure hosting on a private server in the European Union
- Backups and access logging
10. Your rights
Access, rectification, opposition, deletion, and withdrawal of consent (where applicable). Contact: imrane.ouelfaquir@gmail.com. You may complain to the CNDP: cndp.ma.
11. Minors
Ridex is for users 18 and over only.
12. Breaches
We will notify the CNDP and affected users when required by law.
13. Changes
The last updated date is shown at the top. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
