Verification Policy

1. Purpose
This policy explains why Ridex collects identity and vehicle documents, how they are processed, and your rights. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

2. Who is concerned?
Verification mainly applies to drivers who want to publish trips. Ridex may also request identity verification from other users for security reasons.
3. Documents collected
Identity

Data visible on documents (name, ID number, dates, etc.) is processed for verification.
Vehicle
Make, model, year, plate, vehicle photo, registration document (carte grise).
4. Purposes
Confirm driver identity, check documents, reduce fraud, build trust, support moderation.
5. Consent
Before upload, the app asks you to explicitly consent to collection and processing for these purposes. Without consent, you cannot complete verification or publish trips as a driver.
6. Process
- You choose document type and upload photos.
- Files are stored securely (Contabo hosting, EU).
- Manual review by IMRANE OU EL FAQUIR, sole operator of Ridex.
- You receive accepted, rejected (with reason), or pending status.
7. Access
Only IMRANE OU EL FAQUIR can view verification documents (identity papers, selfie, carte grise). They are not visible to other users and are not publicly accessible on the internet.
Your profile photo and vehicle exterior photo may be shown on trip listings once your dossier is approved.
8. Retention
- Accepted: kept while the driver account is active, then deleted within 12 months after account deletion, unless legal requirement or proven fraud.
- Rejected: kept up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Early deletion requests: imrane.ouelfaquir@gmail.com, subject to legal obligations.
9. Refusal
Ridex may refuse unreadable, expired, incomplete, or fraudulent documents, or mismatched selfies. Fraud may lead to suspension and reporting to authorities.
